ARIZONA CITY — Antonio "Tony" Sigarroba, 67, of Arizona City died on Feb. 9, 2012, at home.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 by the Rev. John Cunningham. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Sigarroba was born on July 5, 1944, in Nixon, Texas, and was a son of Julia Soto and Gregorio Sigarroba. He served in the Air Force and was an air photographer on spy planes during the Vietnam War. He worked for Pinal County Schools for 17 years and was a maintenance supervisor. He was an avid sportsman hunter, enjoyed hiking and the outdoors, and was a member of Desert Bow Hunters.
He was very patriotic and helped form the American Legion post in Eloy. He was a great photographer.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalinda; three sons, Marco Sigarroba and Bobby Sanchez of Eloy and Rolando Caudillo of Maricopa; a brother, Raul Sigarroba of Eloy; and two sisters, Yolanda Moya of Casa Grande and Diana Jacquez of Arizona City. He was preceded in death by a son, Reuben Sanchez, and two brothers, Santos and Luke Sigarroba.
