Trammell K. Scott, 92, of Casa Grande died on May 16, 2011, at The Garnet of Casa Grande.
The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mountain View Cemetery, with Pastor Harley Faber officiating.
Mr. Scott was born on March 18, 1919, in Fort Worth, Texas, and was a son of Park K. and Vivian Scott. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a fireman first class. He owned Scott’s Auto Salvage Yard in Fort Worth for 50 years and also was an ordained minister for 50 years. He was known as an honest, God-fearing man who would do anything for people. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a car collector.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky; two sons, Joseph M. Scott of Casa Grande and Trammell K. Scott Jr. of Ohio; three sisters, Iva Jones and Vivian Barnes of San Antonio, Texas, and May Beth Hanson of Albuquerque, N.M.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Park Scott Jr., and two grandchildren, Kenny and Tara Scott.
