SACATON — Travis “Cookie” Cook, 29, of Sacaton died on June 7, 2013, at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 3 Service Center, with rosary recited at 7. The graveside service will be at 6 a.m. Saturday in East Sacaton Cemetery.
Mr. Cook was born on March 26, 1984, in Phoenix. He liked to cook, garden and make people laugh and loved to decorate the house inside and out for Christmas and Halloween. He enjoyed being with family and friends and dancing.
Survivors include his mother, Marlene Cook of Sacaton; five brothers, Marvin and Philbrick Cook of Sacaton, Joseph Cooper Jr., James and Steven Cooper, all of Stotonic; a sister, Monae Cook of Sacaton; his grandmother Eugenia Apkaw of Stotonic; five nephews; and four nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Cooper Sr., and grandparents, Marvin and Pricilla Cook.
