Mr. McDonald was born on April 27, 1992, in Orange, California, to Timothy L. McDonald and Kathryn J. Irvine.

Survivors include his parents, Kathryn Clemans and Timothy McDonald; two siblings, Amanda Rose and Dylan McDonald; and grandparents, John Irvine, Terry McDonald and Theresa Pettas. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Jane Irvine.
