Valerie Anderson

LAVEEN - Valerie "Cheya" Anderson, 45, died on July 21, 2013, at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix.

Rosary and wake will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday at the District 6 Learning Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church in Komatke by the Rev. Gregory Rice. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery.

Ms. Anderson was born on July 6, 1968, in Phoenix. She was a homemaker and a caring person who loved kids, her dogs and cats, attending church and listening to music. She lived a simple life, loved to talk on the phone and made people laugh.

Survivors include aunts and an uncle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willman and Ursula Anderson.
