Vernita A. Ramon

SANTAN - Vernita A. Ramon, 65, of Phoenix died Nov. 4, 2008.


Visitation will be from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday at the District 4 Service Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Mission by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Anne Cemetery.

Ms. Ramon was born in Sacaton and was a daughter of John A. and Suzanna Ramon. She was a sewing machine operator and worked 25-plus years for Arizona Industries for the Blind. She enjoyed bowling, spending time with family and her cats and dogs.

Survivors include four daughters, Denise Hernandez, Jennifer, Georgina and Carlton Honhoinewa, all of Phoenix; two brothers, Robert and Frank Ramon of Sacaton; a sister, Pauline Ramon of Sacaton; and six grandchildren.
