Vernon Allison

SANTAN — Vernon Allison, 39, died on Feb. 26, 2010 at Dobson House Hospice in Chandler.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the family home. The funeral will be at 7 a.m. Saturday at Upper Santan Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating. Burial will be in Upper Santan Presbyterian Cemetery.
Mr. Allison was born on July 25, 1970 in Phoenix. He was a laborer and worked at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort. He also worked at categorizing pottery artifacts and as a nursing assistant at a nursing home. He was attending community college.
Survivors include his mother, Gladine C. Allison of Santan; seven brothers, Glenn and Dean Allison of Sacaton, Clyde Lyle Allison of Casa Grande, Eugene, John, Nolan and Duane Allison, all of Santan; 11 nephews; and 11 nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry I. Allison, and two sisters, Avis J. Allison and Peggy A. Ramirez.
