Vernon Miguel

BAPCHULE — Vernon Dean Miguel, 67, died on March 9, 2012, at home.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Myers home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
Mr. Miguel was born on Nov. 7, 1944, in Sacaton and was a son of Irene Miguel. He worked on ranches and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and listening to chicken scratch music.
Survivors include his companion, Samona Murrietta, and three sisters, Sandra Myers of Casa Blanca, Natalie Baca and Leola Garcia of Phoenix. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Luna.
