Verona Lynne Medina

BAPCHULE - Verona Lynne Medina, 54, died on Sept. 17, 2018, in Sacaton.

Mrs. Medina was born to Leo N. Harrison and Della Mae Jackson on Aug. 26, 1964, in Sacaton. She was devoted to her family and a best friend to them.

She was known for her sense of humor and loved to joke. Known as sweet, caring, honest, complimentary and creative, she loved to help others, dance, travel, color, watch movies and write. She loved all her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Emilio; five sons and daughters, Ruben Harrison, Guillermina Medina, Leo Harrison, Savina Perez and Mikaela Rodriguez; a sister, Lyla Harrison; 20 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter.

Wake beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, at the District 4 Service Center in Santan. Funeral Mass celebrated at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial in Snaketown Cemetery.
