Victor Giebelstein

Victor Bruce Giebelstein, 84, of Casa Grande died on Oct. 30, 2012, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
The graveside service will be in Ames, Iowa.
Mr. Giebelstein was born on Jan. 22, 1928, in Ames and was a son of Harold O. Giebelstein and Dorothy G. Miller. He served in the Navy and was a design engineer. He enjoyed woodworking and built and repaired many things at the Ironwood clubhouse. His grandchildren remember his wooden toys. He made wooden cross necklaces for all his friends and also made wooden toys he sold at craft shows across the Midwest.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara J.; five sons, Jon Emery of Ames, Todd Emery of Gilbert, Iowa, Robert Emery of Tucson, Terry Emery of Melbourne, Fla., and Andy Giebelstein of Des Moines, Iowa; a daughter, Beverly Larson of Austin, Texas; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Giebelstein, and a son, Dana Emery.
