ELOY — Vidal Dominguez Aguilar, 91, of Eloy died peacefully on May 21, 2012, surrounded by his family.
Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 by the Rev. Virgilio Tabo.
Mr. Aguilar was born on March 20, 1921, in El Paso, Texas, and was a son of Tita Dominguez and Vidal Aguilar. He was a dinkey operator and worked at Federal Compress for 30 years. He enjoyed playing solitaire, exercising and spending time with the young children in his family and also enjoyed his furry friend, Comino.
Survivors include two daughters, Hermosinda Aguilar-Corona and Juanita Aguilar; two sons, Vidal Aguilar Jr. and David Aguilar; 14 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Agripina; an infant daughter, Maria Magdalena; five sisters; and two brothers.
