Violet H. Boothe, 66, of Casa Grande died on Jan. 26, 2010 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with the service at 6. Burial will be in Paynesville, W.Va.
Mrs. Boothe was born on May 13, 1943 in Paynesville. She was a business owner. She was a member of First Christian Church in Princeton, W.Va., and attended United Methodist Church of Casa Grande. She volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul Society and enjoyed collecting antiques and reading.
Survivors include her husband, Roger H.; a daughter, Jessica Vaughan of Casa Grande; her mother, Maggi Horn of Paynesville; a sister, June Brown of Bluefield, Va.; three brothers, Randall Horn of Blacksburg, Va., Huey Horn of Pineville, W.Va., and Roger Horn of Paynesville; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Horn; her first husband, James Mills Sr.; a son, James Mills Jr.; a daughter, Karen Mills; a sister, Jewel Ackley; and a brother, Steve Horn.
