Violet F. Henry

COOLIDGE - Violet Henry, 82, died July 21, 2009.

The graveside service was at 8 a.m. Thursday in Valley Memorial Park.

Mrs. Henry was a homemaker. She loved raising her children and enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

Survivors include five sons, Donald Henry of Valley Farms, Cy, Pat, Rusty and Mike Henry; two daughters, Joyce Smith and Sue Harris; 25 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cy, and a son, George Henry.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cy Henry Memorial Foundation.

J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Terry Hill

COOLIDGE - Terry Franklin Hill, 57, of Coolidge died July 26, 2009 at home.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Coolidge, with Bishop Frank Rowley officiating. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park.

Mr. Hill was born April 14, 1952 in Mesa. He graduated from Mesa High School in 1970 and worked for Shope's IGA for 20 years. He was a lifelong member of the LDS Church and taught in the church's Primary classes. He enjoyed cycling.

Survivors include a sister, Rosemary E. Anderson of Concho, and a nephew.

Simes Mortuaries Coolidge Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Gilbert Mendoza

COOLIDGE - Gilbert Tapia Mendoza, 58, died July 21, 2009.

Mr. Mendoza was born March 13, 1951 in Casa Grande. He worked at Thomson Company in Eloy, the Arizona Training Program at Coolidge and in home care. He was a musician and enjoyed his music and being with his family and friends.

Survivors include three sons, Andrew Williams, Angel Mendoza and Gabriel Mendoza; a brother, John Macazan of Blackwater; six sisters, Blanca Chavez of Eloy, Frances Perea, Socorro Ramirez, Artemiza Figueroa, Gloria Espinoza and Susie Lynch, all of Coolidge; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leanna; his parents, Francisco and Ysabel Mendoza; a brother, Francisco Mendoza Jr.; and a daughter, Alice Williams.
