A memorial service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, December 29, 2012 at J. Warren Funeral Chapel in Casa Grande, with the Reverend John Dunham of Valley Presbyterian Church of Green Valley officiating. Ginny was born on July 19, 1924 in Norwich, Connecticut to John and Eva Blair. She was raised in the Norwich area and then attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine, earning a bachelor's degree in sociology. She met and married James Thurmond Sensibaugh on December 21, 1945. After completing college they moved to Texas and then on to Arizona in 1955, eventually settling in Stanfield, Arizona. She was a long time member of the Alpha Delta Phi sorority, and was an active member of the Stanfield Community Presbyterian Church. After the church dissolved and became a community center, Ginny served on the center's board of directors. Her passion in later life was helping others in the Alanon program, where she attended faithfully until her move to Green Valley in 2005. She was a strong proponent of education and inspired her daughters to pursue higher education. Ginny brought her New England heritage of equality and justice for all to those around her and nurtured a sense of respect and acceptance of all people, regardless of racial, ethnic and socioeconomic status. Survivors include: a brother, Charles Blair of Uncasville, Connecticut; two daughters, Bobbie Ursin (Dave) of Flagstaff, AZ and Carole Hooper (Roger) of Green Valley, AZ; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
