Virginia June Dodson

ARIZONA CITY - Virginia June Dodson, 78, of Arizona City died on Feb. 9, 2014, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Dodson was born on June 11, 1935, in Tucson and was a daughter of Virgil and Virginia Wilber Hamilton. She was a hospital housekeeper and loved riding horses, reading, doing puzzles, knitting and traveling. She also loved to watch TV news, and her favorite show was "60 Minutes." She loved See’s Candies, watching tennis and her dog, and she had a good heart. She loved to wear Levi’s pants and a fisherman’s hat.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne Partin of San Tan Valley and Shane Hartman; a daughter, Phyllis Wiggin of Florence; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Dodson, and a brother, Phillip Hamilton.

No service is planned.
