Walter Thomas Baker

Walter Thomas Baker, affectionately known as Tom, was born on November 9, 1957, in Nebraska City, Nebraska. He passed away peacefully at his home in Casa Grande, Arizona, on August 2, 2024. Tom dedicated his life to service, both personally and professionally, as a Certified Public Accountant. Holding a Bachelor's degree in finance, he embodied a spirit of diligence and support for those around him.

Tom was known for his compassionate personality, tirelessly helping others in need throughout his life. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including traveling, rescuing dogs, and spending quality time with friends. His selflessness and dedication made a lasting impact on the lives he touched.

He is survived by his beloved brother James Baker and his wife Sandra, alongside six nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Tom's legacy of kindness and generosity will be celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Korah and Lola Baker (Yates), and his brothers, Edward Baker and Ward Baker. Those who remember him are left with cherished memories of his warmth and dedication.

A private graveside service will be held in Tom's honor on October 11, 2024, at 10:30 AM, at Mountain View Cemetery located at 15506 Skyway Avenue, Casa Grande, AZ 85193. Family is welcome to celebrate Tom's remarkable life.

The family is hosting a luncheon at the Pinal Lodge, 1140 E. Florence Blvd., Casa Grande, AZ 85122, at 11:30 until 1:30 on Friday, October 11, 2024, to thank his community of friends for their support through the years.
