Walter Livingston, 70, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 14, 2013, at The Villa hospice in Mesa.
The celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Jerry Leastman and the Rev. Curtis Adams officiating.
Mr. Livingston was born on Dec. 22, 1942, in Chandler. He was a Marine Corps veteran and a mail carrier, retiring from the Casa Grande post office after more than 25 years of service. He later was a greeter at Kmart and volunteered at Dorothy Powell Senior Adult Center. He always had a good joke to tell, tried to make people smile, liked to hunt and fish, loved golf and was involved in Cub Scouts.
Survivors include a daughter, Heidi Harrenstein of Casa Grande; a brother, Ned Livingston; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra, a sister, Louise Livingston, and parents Wesley and Fern Livingston.
