ARIZONA CITY — Wanda June “Granny” Clay, 80, of Arizona City died on March 27, 2011, at home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande.
Mrs. Clay was born on July 14, 1930, in Iowa and was a daughter of Ray R. Milford and Bessie L. Van Blairicom. She was a factory machine operator. She enjoyed her family, including all the children. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening and raising dogs.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly “Bugs” Vest of Wellman, Iowa, and Linda Brady of Sebastopol, Calif.; two sons, Ray E. Clay of Casa Grande and Freddie Clay Jr. of Wellman; a sister, Lois Hinton of Washington, Iowa; two brothers, Robert Milford of Washington, Iowa, and Ralph Milford of Nashville; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Sr.; two daughters, Gail Clay and Deana Boyer; 12 brothers and sisters; a grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
