Wilfred Howard

SACATON — Wilfred Ernest Howard, 66, died on July 24, 2011, at Caring House.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 4 Service Center. The graveside service will be at 7 a.m. Saturday in North Upper Santan Cemetery.
Mr. Howard was born on Sept. 30, 1944, in Sacaton and was a son of Ernest J. Howard and Sophie Cooper. He worked in maintenance for the Gila River Housing Department. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and going on outings with the Districts 3 and 4 Elderly Group.
He is survived by a brother, Samuel Howard of Upper Santan. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Lyons and Jeannette Edwards, and three brothers, Goron, Philbert and Dana Howard Sr.
