William "Bill" Herman

CASA GRANDE - William "Bill" Herman, 59, of Geraldine, Montana, died on Jan. 29, 2016.

Mr. Herman was born on Nov. 19, 1956, in Minot, North Dakota, and was a son of Charles and Darlene Herman. He worked for the Montana Department of Transportation. Known as "Fisherman Bill," he lived life to the fullest, and his true passion was fishing, followed by hunting and camping with his family and friends. He was a proud "Papa" to his three granddaughters and loved his nieces and nephews.

He loved Masonry and was a past master of Lodge 51 in Marysville, Montana. He also was a life member of Lodge 21 in Townsend, Montana, and Lodge 5 in Helena, Montana. He enjoyed visiting area lodges while staying in Arizona.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Beverly; two daughters, Barbara Herman and Brenda Matteson; three sisters, Charlene Loper, Bonnie Clark and Renae Ostle; a brother, Ed Herman; and three granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 22 at Sunscape RV Resort, with Pastor Tim Green officiating. J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
