His love for football was evident as he supported the Rams and the Sooners, though he enjoyed watching old westerns and the History Channel in his later years.
Bill was married twice and was a proud father to two children, Glen and Tereasa Hurst, from his first marriage. He also embraced the role of a father figure to William and Christine Cox from his second marriage.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Deloris, and brothers Frank and Ray. Bill is survived by his brother Eugene, his children, and a loving legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his cousins.
