William Ernest "Bill" Eggart, 69, passed away in Ajo on September 25,2020. Bill was born March 14, 1951 in Lewiston Idaho to William, H. and Hilah G. (Ish) Eggart. He graduated from Craigmont High School and went on to receive a college certificate in computer programming. Bill married Marie J. Aguilar on August 9th, 1969 in Lewiston Idaho. Together they have two sons. The couple made Ajo their home after moving from Clarkston, Washington in 2017. He worked as a mill worker for most of his life, having worked at Clearwater Paper Mill in Lewiston, Idaho for many years. He was officially retired in 2014. Bill was a member of the Catholic faith and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He served as the president of the Banana Belt Fiddles Club for a few years. Bill’s hobbies included hiking, nature walks, gardening, hunting, reading and literature. He also enjoyed music and played the guitar, banjo, and fiddle. He most of all enjoyed spending time with family.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Hilah; by his brother-in-law, Glenn Rush; and by his father-in-law, John R. Maguire. He was survived by his wife of 51 years, Marie J. Eggart; by his sons and daughter-in-law, William "Billy" Eggart, Robert "Bob" & Tara L. Eggart; and Billy’s significant other, Tina; by his sister Millie Gene Rush; and by his five grandchildren, Lexi, Branden, Kyler, Maddy and Johnathon. Services for Bill are pending.
