William Mckaney,

William McKaney Jr., 42, of Eloy died July 26, 2009 at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church. The service will follow at 11, with Pastor Eddie Williams officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. McKaney was born June 15, 1967 in Eloy. He was a member of Eloy Church of Christ. He enjoyed camping, fishing and all sports, but loved football most of all.

Survivors include four daughters, Kashira Gant, Domanique Norris and Deja McKaney, all of Eloy, and Nigeria Hillis of Casa Grande; four sons, Aaron, Jeremy and William McKaney III and Daejon Norris, all of Eloy; his significant other, Jacqueline Norris; his mother, Mary Jo McKaney of Eloy; eight sisters, Dorothy Scott of Glendale, Carolyn Ayers of Phoenix, Priscilla McKaney of Eloy, Annette McKaney and Tammy Escalera of Phoenix, Yolanda McKaney of Coolidge, Cynthia Thornton of Phoenix and Sholla McKaney of Indio, Calif.; seven brothers, Dwayne and Michael R. McKaney of Eloy, Keith McKaney of Avondale, Reginald McKaney of Florence, Alvin McKaney and Eugene House of Eloy and Chad McKaney of Tucson; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, William McKaney Sr.; a brother, Fragest McKaney; and a sister, Michelle McKaney.
