Willie Vaughn

CASA GRANDE - Willie Vaughn, 96, died on Feb. 10, 2017, in Casa Grande.

Mrs. Vaughn was born on Feb. 4, 1921, in Linden, Tennessee, the youngest of nine children.

She moved to Eloy in 1945 and then to Casa Grande in 1980. She was known for her laugh, sense of humor and love for her family and friends.

She is survived by four adult children, Charles Vaughn of Salome, Sheila Janet Leary of Arizona City, Elbert Gail of Chino Hills, California, and Rebecca Mione of Kempner, Texas; 27 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert.

Memorial service held Sunday, Feb. 12, at Central Lutheran Church in Arizona City.
