ELOY - Willis Dammann, 83, of Eloy died on July 15, 2018.
Mr. Dammann was born on Dec. 4, 1934, in Winnetka, Illinois, to Carl Dammann and Harriett Jacobs. He lived in Casa Grande for 17 years and then Eloy for 24 years. He was a cement mason and an over-the-road truck driver for years.
He was active in block watch neighborhood cleanups and worked to get roads chip-sealed in his subdivision. He loved fishing and grilling.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Betty; three adult children, Terrance Kaiser of Reno, Nevada, Jody Behrendsen of Apache Lake and Douglas Dammann of Casa Grande; two siblings, Henry Dammann of Freeport, Illinois, and Charlene Lowe of Bowling Green, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Graveside service at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, in Eloy Memorial Park.
