Wilmar Thomas

CASA BLANCA — Wilmar Thomas Sr., 45, of Casa Blanca died on Dec. 26, 2011.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Tina Howard home, Wild Horse Lane and Gophers Road. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in Sacate Cemetery.
Mr. Thomas was born on Sept. 20, 1966, in Sacaton. He was a construction worker and enjoyed listening to music and dancing. He also liked horseback riding and spending time with his family and friends, especially with his grandchildren. He enjoyed working and making people laugh.
Survivors include his companion, Majel Gibson; a son, Wilmar Thomas Jr. of San Carlos; three sisters, Willa Thomas of Bapchule, Wilma Lewis of Blackwater and Tina Howard of Casa Blanca; three brothers, Ronald White Jr. of Sacaton, Hirman Thomas Jr. of Blackwater and Marvin Thomas of Hashan-Kehk; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Y. Thomas; his parents, Hirman W. Thomas Sr. and Mary G. Jose; and a sister, Florenda Jose Benitez.
