Ygnacia M. "Nancy" Aka "Nachita" Mayoral

ELOY - Ygnacia M. "Nancy" Mayoral, 91, also known as "Nachita,", died at home on Nov. 15, 2016.

Mrs. Mayoral was born on March 11, 1925, in Gonzales, Texas, the second of seven children. She was a hardworking, humble and very kind woman and spoke of how she helped raise three younger brothers and sisters.

She was known as a character and loved to joke and make people laugh. She was devoted to her family and was caring, sensitive and full of love.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary G. Mora of Eloy; three sisters, Mary Munoz of Casa Grande, Elida Martinez and Pauline Nance of Eloy; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose G.; a son, Ignacio Godinez; and three brothers, Joe, Lucio and Amado Martinez.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel, with rosary recited at 7, led by Deacon Pat Abiles. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church by the Rev. Alonzo Garcia. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
