ELOY — Ysidro Medina Jr., 53, of Eloy died on Aug. 23, 2012, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at Taz Boxing Club. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Medina was born on Sept. 6, 1958, in Tucson. He did landscaping work and enjoyed being with family and friends, dancing, listening to music, especially oldies and Cumbia mix, and making people laugh. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, and talking with the priests at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande.
Survivors include his companion, Nadine Pablo; four sisters, Terry Rodriquez of Casa Grande, Martha A. Medina and Gloria Guzman of Eloy and Maria Christina Laguna of Tucson; and two brothers, Willie Rodriquez of Coolidge and Gilbert Laguna of Tucson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ysidro B. Medina and Maria P. Precido; a brother, Richard Rodriquez; and a sister, Irma L. Cruz.
