Yvonne Denise St. John

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Yvonne Denise Jones, who was taken from us too soon, on November 18th, 2024, at the tender age of 65. Our mother was born in Portland Oregon. She grew up in the Vancouver, WA area, and spent the last few years of her life in Maricopa, AZ. 

Yvonne brought immeasurable joy and light to our lives with her kind heart and willingness to be there and listen without judgement. She was a survivor and overcame many challenges in her life. She loved animals—especially her dogs—doing arts and crafts and always put others before herself. Though her time was cut short, the depth of love and happiness she shared will forever remain in our hearts. 

Yvonne passed away knowing she was loved by all. She is survived by her mother, four sisters, three children, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. 

“When tomorrow starts without me and I’m not there to see, if the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me, I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say. I know how much you love me, I know you’ll miss me too, but when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand and said my place is ready in heaven far above, and that I’d have to leave behind those that I dearly love.” Author unknown.
